We're seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who is confident in their clinical abilities, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient and client care.

What You'll Do

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll be an essential part of patient care from start to finish:

• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
• Safely and confidently restrain dogs and cats during procedures
• Collect patient histories and obtain accurate vitals (TPR, weight, etc.)
• Perform blood draws and support in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with anesthesia monitoring and recovery
• Support wellness and preventive care services, including vaccines and client education
• Educate clients on medications, post-operative care, nutrition, and overall pet health
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment
• Support pharmacy, inventory, and daily hospital operations

• Previous Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience required
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) strongly preferred (South Carolina licensure)
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills (dogs & cats)
• Experience with phlebotomy, laboratory processes, and anesthesia support
• Excellent communication and client education skills
• A positive, team-first attitude with a strong work ethic
