Description
Mendon Animal Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled part-time Client Service Representative to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Our comfortable environment means you'll have an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. As part of our team, you'll work with the latest technology, gain access to state-of-the-art training facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love. Saturday availability required.Mendon Animal Clinic is a full-service animal hospital that welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical and dental care. We care for cats, dogs, rabbits and pocket pets. Our clinic is well equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology including dental, full in-house laboratory, surgical cautery, therapeutic laser, cryotherapy, tonometry. We have a board-certified surgeon, cardiologist and internist who regularly come to our practice for advanced surgical procedures, echocardiology and abdominal ultrasounds. https://www.mendonanimalclinic.com/
Client Service Representative
Mendon Animal Clinic in Mendon, MA
$19.00 - $22.00 hourly pay rate based on experience
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system
- Warmly greets clients
- Prepares patient files
- Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records
- Answers client's inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
- Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions
- Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately
- Prepares client invoices for services performed
- Handles payment transactions
- Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required
- Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment
- Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
- Saturday availability required
