Description
We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled Veterinarian to join our growing team!
We are a privately owned small animal general practice and wellness center in Thousand Oaks, California. We offer both in-clinic and mobile veterinary appointments for dogs and cats. We are dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care with an emphasis on preventative medicine, wellness, and client education. We are looking for a veterinarian who enjoys general practice, preventative medicine, and basic surgery and is excited by the variety of providing care both in the clinic and in the home. Our practice offers a supportive, collaborative environment where patient care comes first.
What We Offer:
General practice & wellness care, basic soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, mobile house call services, rehabilitation services (physical therapy including underwater treadmill), acupuncture and laser therapy.
Our rehabilitation program allows us to offer patients more than traditional veterinary care, with services designed to support mobility, recovery, pain management, and overall quality of life.
We’re looking for a veterinarian who:
Enjoys general practice and preventative medicine
Is comfortable performing basic surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentistry
Is willing to see in-clinic and mobile veterinary appointments
Has excellent communication and client-service skills
Values compassionate, individualized patient care
Works well independently while being part of a collaborative team
Is interested in expanding their knowledge of rehabilitation, acupuncture, and integrative medicine — experience is a plus, but not required
As a privately owned practice, we value flexibility, teamwork, and building genuine relationships with our clients and patients. You’ll have the opportunity to practice medicine without the corporate feel, in a brand new, clean and welcoming spa-like facility, while working alongside a team that takes a comprehensive approach to animal health. Our team genuinely enjoys working together and we strive to maintain a supportive, healthy, and positive work culture where our team feels respected and valued. We also believe in giving back to our community and support animal rescues and non profit organizations, as well as participating in community efforts such as animal evacuation and emergency assistance.
If you’re looking for a practice where you can practice great medicine, develop lasting client relationships, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets, we’d love to hear from you!
Schedule: Part time with rotating Saturdays
Position: Veterinarian (in-clinic and mobile)
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
