Our experienced DVM team and highly skilled support staff collaborate daily to deliver compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to our coastal North Carolina community.
Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries
Perform animal restraint and patient handling
Collect diagnostic samples (blood, urine, fecal)
Support anesthesia preparation and monitoring (based on skill level)
Administer medications as directed
Monitor hospitalized and post-operative patients
Client Communication & Education
Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventative care
Support discharge instructions and follow-up care
Provide compassionate, professional communication
Hospital Operations
Maintain accurate medical records
Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas remain clean and organized
Collaborate with DVMs, RVTs, and fellow team members
Who We're Looking For
Veterinary Assistants
1-2+ years of veterinary or animal care experience preferred
Strong animal handling and multitasking skills
Passion for learning and advancing technical skills
Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT/LVT)
Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program
Active or eligible for North Carolina licensure
Strong anesthesia, diagnostics, and patient care skills preferred
