EverPaw is a compassionate, mobile end-of-life veterinary practice serving the greater Chicago area. We bring peace, dignity, and comfort to pets and their families during one of life's most difficult moments — in the familiar surroundings of home.
We're looking for empathetic, skilled veterinarians to join our growing team on a full-time or part-time basis. At EverPaw, we've built our practice around two core beliefs: that pets deserve a gentle, dignified goodbye, and that the veterinarians providing that care deserve real support and sustainability.
What we offer:
Low visit volume with high impact — real relationships, meaningful work
Flexible scheduling, 7 days/week availability, no after-hours requirements
Autonomous mobile practice — choose your own protocols, days, and driving zones
Full back-office support: scheduling, triage, financial discussions, and cremation coordination handled for you
Competitive pay + Health, Dental & Vision Insurance; PTO; CE allowance; mileage reimbursement; cell phone stipend; licensing fees; professional liability insurance; and local VMA membership
Ongoing training, leadership opportunities, and a genuinely supportive team culture
Requirements
DVM/VMD degree with at least 1 year of clinical experience preferred
Active veterinary and DEA licenses in good standing
Comfort with end-of-life care and compassionate client communication
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and navigate home environments safely
Reliable vehicle (SUV or van preferred) and smartphone
Strong interpersonal skills with empathy at the forefront
