Our 2.5 doctor family-owned and operated animal hospital is looking for a second exceptional full-time veterinarian to join us in Palm Harbor, a quiet, friendly Gulf Coast community in the greater Tampa Bay area where visitors can find miles of hiking and biking trails, beaches, scenic parks, world-class golf courses, excellent restaurants & breweries, and easy access to the beautiful gulf for boating, SCUBA, & fishing.
We have in-house blood machines, ultrasound, digital radiology, digital dental radiology (included in all dental prophylaxis packages), a dedicated dental surgery suite equipped with iM3 dental machines with high speed drills, BedJet & Smith’s Medical warm air systems for patient comfort, mobile oxygen generators, AccuWave Plus anesthesia monitors, Genia Seal & Cut MV1 Surgical Vessel Sealer, Cutting Edge Class IV Therapy Laser, and a paperless practice management system with Pulse (EVetPractice). You'll even have your very own desk, iMac, iPad, and phone.
We are a fun-loving, kindhearted, and helpful team that works hard to build meaningful relationships with our clients and offer them the absolute best care for their pets. We enjoy each other’s company, laugh when we can, and have a wonderful culture of relaxed, supportive and collaborative veterinarians and support staff.
We’re closed on weekends and holidays, and do not take after-hours calls or emergencies.
We are closed the week between Christmas and New Years to give the entire team a chance to spend time with family & friends.
Our appointments are 20-30 minutes each to give you time to get to know pets and clients, work up cases and discuss your medical plan with the owner.
Our technicians go over all billing / estimates to take that pressure and responsibility off our veterinarians and let them focus on the medicine.
We go home on time--this is important for our entire team to ensure we all have enough time to recharge, relax, and refuel. Our team loves being able to be home for dinner with their loved ones every night.
We block one hour for lunch daily, and we block off 30 minutes each day to catch up on charts, phone calls, etc.
The average work week consist of 36 hours.
Freedom to practice the way you want and the ability to bounce your cases off your colleagues and learn from theirs.
